BREATHLESS

Your real lungs are the oxygen tank.

Hold your breath in real life and your diver can dive.
The deeper you go, the rarer the fish. Mythics only appear below 50 m, down in the trench.
Breathe underwater and you are out of air: race to the surface or lose your net.

Sharks hunt here

One shark by day, two at night. They home in on your heartbeat: keep calm and they lose interest, and they will not follow you to the surface.

A bite ends the dive. The fish in your net and the fish banked this dive that have not started minting are lost. Your net shaft, reel, net, fins, emergency tank, headlamp and deep sonar all drop back to level 1, with no refund.
Kept: your boat, Pearls, and every fish from earlier dives or already minting, minted or for sale.
Rarer fish. While sharks are out, every new fish rolls its rarity three times and keeps the best.
No heart-rate reading. Dives with sharks are left out of the heart-rate figures in your health report. Breath-hold times still count.

Shown once. The chart repeats the warning whenever you pick the Open Ocean.
